Pass Plus Driving Course |
Driving School Leeds
The Pass Plus driving course was introduced by the Driving Standards Agency to improve the driving skills of new drivers and to reduce the high accident rate among this group of drivers. Statistics show that 1 in 5 new drivers are involved in an accident within the first year of driving.
The Pass Plus course has to be taken by full driving licence holders, within the first year of passing your practical driving test. The course usually only requires 6-8 hours of tuition and you will be driving in more complex situations and conditions to that of a learner driver. There is no test with this course you will be assessed by one of our Pass Plus registered driving instructors.
If you are successful with the course, we will fill in all the paperwork and send it off to the DSA who will return a Pass Plus certificate to you. You will then be able to receive considerable car insurance discounts from many or the large insurance companies. The topics you will be covering on the Pass Plus course are:-
-
City Centre & Town Driving
-
All-Weather Driving
-
Driving On Country Roads
-
